Welcome to our Kindergarten Readiness Program
for 4 and 5 year olds

In Pre-K we always work on teamwork skills and building self-confidence!

What's Happening in Pre-K?

Things we do daily:
    * Calendar (Number and letter recognition, Introduction to the months of the year and days of the week, Weather observations, Weekly letter practice)
    * Computer time    
    * Centers
    * Small and Large Group activities
    * Story Time
    * Free choice
    * Weekly theme activities
    * Outside recess
                         
We practice the recognition and sound of each letter.  Throughout the week various activities are done to practice the letters studied that month.

The themes for April are:          Easter, letter E
                                                Seeds to  Plants, letter O
                                                Earth Day, Recycle, letter E
                                                In the Ocean, letter O
    
To celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss, the Cat in the Hat came to visit our classroom and shared Green Eggs and Ham with all of us.
